I am a huge fan of the Woodlands series. I love that Jen can so easily twist emotion, humour and steam into her books without it feeling she is trying too hard or without any of the components feeling like they are lacking.

But as much as I love this series and the guys in it I have to say that this one is probably my least favourite of the 3 and I don't know if it was just that I maybe wasn't in the mood for it or if there was just something small that was missing. But I didn't feel this book.

That isn't to say I didn't enjoy it or that I am not stalking her blog to see when the next book is coming out, just that I put the book down and didn't really care. I think maybe there was too much of the everyday mediocre and not enough of the heart stopping drama or sweep me off my feet romance or take my breath away lust and for me that's why I read.

Gray was a marine with a crisis of faith and Sam was a widow who's emotions were finally coming out of deep freeze after losing her husband. Together that made the perfect couple and I loved that they both fought for what they wanted and never lost faith.

As always the secondary characters were great and I really look forward to Finn's story next.

I kinda read this series ass backwards not realising it was a series. Luckily they are both stand alone with HEA and I loved them both.

Killian was super sweet and sexy and even when he was a dick you just had to love him. And Rebecca was sweet and sassy and didn't take his dick moments lying down. I loved them both and the whole story just flew bye.

I really hope Holly will write a whole heap more as they are the ultimate feel good book for a lazy lie in.

I fell in love with Until November in a big way. I loved the characters, I loved the writing and I loved the story but I have to be honest the thing that makes me LOVE this author is the dogs. Yeah, yeah I know that sounds crazy but for me I can’t be without a dog, they are as essential to our daily life as our friends and family, they are members of our family so when an author writes a kick ass book with great characters and includes the dog almost as a secondary character I am in love.

Don’t get me wrong the story on both these books is awesome and would still be a 5 star read without the pooches it just makes me connect to the characters better and love the author more.

Anyway guess you all aren’t reading this to hear how much I love dogs so I suppose I can tell you a little about the actual story now :P

The Mayson BOOM is a family legend and is something all of the boys grow up knowing will happen to them. So they spread their wild oats far and fast while waiting for THE ONE to come along so they can start their happily ever after.

Trevor was hilarious after meeting him in Until November I figured he would be great but knowing the hurdles he had put in his own way made me go into the book thinking he might not live up to Asher’s high standards but damned if he didn’t make me just want to join that family even more.

I love how these guys know what they want and nothing will ever stand in their way. They definitely meet the alpha approved list.

As always the secondary characters were perfect and Liz was definitely a kick ass leading lady. I love that she loved him to the bottom of her soul but never was she prepared to take any of his shit. She 100% was as strong and sassy as November and I can’t help but add that to my list of reasons to stalk Crystal. In fact that list is getting pretty long now that I think about it.

If you haven't yet gotten acquainted with the Mason brothers rush out and grab the books now as they really are an amazing read.

I can appreciate that some people may find the concept of men and women taking a role of Daddy and my good girl somewhat taboo, but as a warm blooded virile male, i gotta be honest and say i  love it, and i thoroughly enjoyed reading this short story..

The general gist being a 30 odd year old man, handsome, sophisticated alpha makes his living running a host of clubs 1 of which is a BDSM club. He is fighting, to an extent, his old fetish ways and trying the world of vanilla with a young lady that essentially isn't what usually got him hard, but she is what she is; honest, pretty ,throws him a quickie, very much the type he is expected to settle down with.

His BDSM club is having a themed event, and this themed event is his life of the past being a DADDY to a sweet innocent consenting girl. Along comes Kayla the epitome of every mans wet dream; short, curvy, attractive, enjoys playing innocent, but with a gentle stroking of her breast or slipping a finger over the front of her white panties and you have yourself sex on legs. There is nothing Daddy's girl wouldn't do for him or let him do to her, whether its pressing her up against a wall and taking her in the arse or going down on her knees and opening wide taking all his inches and like a good girl not spilling a drop.

It is a 40 page short story, full of fucking and role-play, and by page 20 i was as hard as a rock you could have hung a flag off me and sang the national anthem of your choice.

By page 40 my pretty girl didn't stand a chance..we had 3 hours of all this DADDY could eat. If your in the mood for something to just take the edge off, a quick story that you aren't going to fall in love with the leads, but just want a lot of holes being entertained, here is a book i think achieves that objective.

I have to say I read the blurb for this book and thought it sounded a little like Hopeless so I dove straight in. 5 pages in I realised that this book was nothing like Hopeless and I was very happy to realise it stood out all on it's own. The twists and turns I did not see coming. And for me that's the best part of a new story.

I really loved the story as a whole but the journey into the past through Raven Girl was amazing. Seeing them not just meet and fall in love but to watch the love between them grow was so sweet and heartwarming.

Cal and his absolute love and devotion to a girl that everyone tried to convince him was dead has definitely made himself a true contender for Book Boyfriend of the year with his complete faith in the fact that she was his Lenore and nothing would ever keep them apart.

This book was 100% emotions and I loved every feeling it gave me. From the first page I was hooked, I couldn't put it down and I had to know that Cal wasn't crazy and he would get his Lenore and live happily ever after.

So if your looking for a book that will consume you for a few hours and have you thinking about it for days with a smile this is it.
