I am so addicted to this author’s work and so in love with this crazy massive, somewhat related “family.” I just have such a hard time keeping track of who is related to whom and who’s parents are who but now I don’t even bother. I just read it like a standalone until my brain clicks or someone says something that makes me go “oh my god that’s ……” And it works. Because regardless of the characters, the writing is flawless and the story is always engaging.
This story’s beginning grabbed me so hard and I was instantly so engrossed and desperate to see what’s going to happen I didn't want to put it down. There was just so much going on for Ashton and then as we got to know her more it was hard not to admire her.
And honestly I started out wanting to hate Jamie in solidarity with Ashton, but I just couldn’t do it. That man gave amazing boyfriend, and before that he gave awesome one night stand. Plus, getting his point of view was sweet. Although his actions were proof enough without his POV. He was so jealous and protective and sweet.
I can’t get enough of these books and I honestly don't care in the slightest whose book is up next although I would really love it to be Delaney. She just feels like she's going to have an interesting story and deserve an epic love.
