I got 2 chapters into this and had no other option but to adult so I raced to audible and promptly bought the audio. And loved every second of it. This series is so much fun. I love the interconnectedness of the leading ladies along with their men on the team. I can't get enough of the teases of Hugh and Evelyn.
Jax and Sloane were as awesome as the previous couples. And I was invested since I read the tease at the end of the last book. Sloane was so closed off and carrying way more than she should have had to. And Jax was so sunshine and happy go lucky. I knew they were going to be an awesome combo.
Everything about Sloane I found so authentic. I know how hard it is to break the habit of waiting for the other shoe to drop when things are going well. Watching her struggle to believe that everything could stay as good as it was had me all up in my feels.
Luckily Jax knew what he wanted and he wasn't scared to fight for it. He was all in and showed it with every single one of his actions. That man was impossible not to love. And he loved so hard and so openly I couldn't get enough of him. Watching him fall for Sloane's siblings as well was so sweet.
As always all the secondary characters were fun to catch up with. I'm dying to see where this series goes next.

Obviously if Aurora Rose Reynolds writes it I'm going to tell you it's amazing. 1. Because it will be. And 2. Because I may have a teeny weeny massive girl crush. Since I picked up Until November I have been obsessed with her writing. Then as I stalked followed her online I saw what a genuinely beautiful person she is and that just made loving her writing so much better. So yeah, read all her books, thank me later.
As for this book, I actually got an ALC from netgalley. Thank you very much. And got to spend 7 hours listening to some pretty great narrators, loving this story. The whole book kept me guessing. Everything I thought I knew was wrong. Every piece of drama I anticipated never happened.
There were parts of this book that I felt so emotionally, that I know a lot of people won't but Ezra and Romey felt like characters I've had placed in my home and the whole situation felt so real I actually got mad at their case worker and cried like a mother. So there's that.
Wyatt and Genevieve had such a naturally progressing relationship that it felt like I fell right along with them. Their banter was cute and I listened to most of the story with a smile on my face. I can't wait to see how this series is going to play out because the whole rock thing was cute as a button.
I can't stress enough how much I love Natasha Madison's writing. Her books are an automatic one click for me and I don't bother with the blurb. So I jumped in and to be honest I don't really remember either Finley or Lincoln from the last book. But once I started to get into it I remembered how deeply I was hit by the feels with Collins. So when the feels hit me here I would like to say I was prepared but I would be lying.
Finley was so much more than I could have predicted. I thought she would be shallow and maybe a little vapid and we would get to know her and she would grow. But I loved her from the start. She literally had everything she could ever ask for. Yet she was so prepared to step out of her comfort zone. And she was such a sweet person she was awesome to get to know better.
Lincoln was such a great dad and honestly I was expecting him to be bitter and reluctant to see Finley for who she could be. But once he decided to take a chance on her he really saw her and the lengths she went to for Asa to be happy and safe. And watching him fall and not even slightly fight it was hot.
Asa was a great addition and I loved watching him interact with Finley. There were so many different ways that this could have played out that when the drama hit I wasn't expecting it to play out like that. I would have loved to see a little more vengeance being rained down but I am a little blood thirsty. And everything was resolved beautifully. The epilogues were a perfect cherry on top.
I saw the sign up for this and realised that I had missed book 1 releasing. So I checked out book 1 and saw that it was Beefcake all grown up and I had to get my hands on it. In typical me logic I decided to wait on reading book 1 until closer to getting my grabby hands on book 2. So I one clicked it on KU and waited patiently. Then we took the kids to Bali and I realised how little I read while on holiday.
And I have to admit I liked beefcake aka Cutler and Gracie but I didn't love it like I expected. I went into it expecting too much from it and it didn't hit for me. So then I was somewhat reluctant to pick this one up. Although this one is also a 4 star read for me I liked it a bit more.
Bass is one of those heroes you instantly love despite him being grumpy and somewhat closed off. He loves hard and he shows up for his people. He doesn't play games and you always know where he stands. And getting his point of view was even sweeter.
Briar started out with a lot of questions about her and even more about her motives. And her coming in so hot at the start didn't help. But I was pretty quickly won over by her and I loved that she fired straight back at Bass without missing a beat.
The chemistry between these two was fun to watch and I enjoyed watching them fall together. There was the perfect mix of emotions, drama, chemistry and story. Book 3 looks like it's going to be a great addition to the series and I can't wait.
I feel like I need to preface this with the fact I love Rebecca Jenshak's writing and I was anxiously awaiting Lucky Shot. Then it released and the blurb just didn't work for me and despite the fact I grabbed it on release day from KU it just kept slipping down my TBR. Then I saw the tropes and teasers for this and HAD to read it. When I realised it was book 3 I knew I had to read the others first so I've had a nice little binge read.
So Conrad I am well acquainted with from the last 2 books. And his nervousness around women made him so endearing. Here he is this famous athlete, who all our previous heroines have made mention of his beauty and he literally can't put a sentence together around women. I couldn't wait to get his POV and back story and it didn't disappoint.
Whitney was a new to us character but i loved her from the beginning. She was so baffled by Conrad's behaviour on their date but she didn't take it onboard as her issue. And she wasn't afraid to call it out or to give him another chance when he tried to explain the problem.
The two of them together were sweet and hot and their couple's journey was fun to watch. It felt real and natural and I was so invested in them. I wasn't sure how the whole Victor thing was going to play out but even that felt authentic. It wasn't perfect, but it felt realistic.
Overall, I couldn't be happier, except for if the other books were available so I could just keep right on with the Moonshot boys. And then maybe throw in Victor's book just to keep the party going.

Ok seriously this has to be one of the sweetest books I have read in a while. I was kind of expecting a little bit of angst and drama after where we left off with Baylor in the last book. But it just didn't play out that way. And it was just sweetness and falling from the start.
Add in the fact I listened to the audio version and I wasn't able to put it down. The voices were perfect for the books and getting it in duet was awesome.
Anyway this book picked up from Ellison's baby shower with Baylor returning home. And like I mentioned, I expected Baylor to be sad about the circumstances she was returning home under. And that wasn't really the case, which was great. Because boom, along comes Macklin ready and waiting to shoot his shot.
And I couldn't get enough of Macklin. Every time I thought he couldn't get swoonier he went right along and proved me wrong. It was almost to the point where I had to sit back and wonder if his devotion was veering into creepy stalker territory. But then i realised if it was i didn't care, i am so here for it.
Baylor and Macklin were perfect and sweet and then very hot together and I devoured this in one sitting. I am loving the Moran sisters and I can't wait to see the next one fall.

Well, welcome back to Purgatory Falls, please fasten your seatbelts we are in for a bit of a bumpy ride. First, I need to confess I don't really remember Bristol or Anson. I don't think that matters. This book is an awesome standalone with some characters I know and love popping in with opinions and I loved it.
Bristol and Anson were great characters and I loved them together. I enjoyed the book, but I personally feel a little ripped off. I expected and honestly was looking forward to some drama and angst. This is a younger sibling falling for their deceased sisters ex, who is raising their child. She also happens to be best friends with his sister.
So, I was expecting there to be a whole thing with the child and family members. And I thought it was set up for exactly that. Then it swerved another way, there was drama I wasn't anticipating. Cool, I thought we were going to steer into that. Instead, out of all these juicy little nuggets we could have run with Bristol finds issue with the one thing I was like who even cares about that.
Then we hit the epilogue without any of the things I want a resolution (or fireworks) for, and it was just cute fluff. Excuse me ma'am where is the rest of the book? I was expecting some drama with the truck and a MC club. A certain someone's mother having an actual cow or some angst over the child being eww gross my step mum can't be my aunty. Nope just a sweet little honeymoon present, which I loved but still.
Guess I have to wait to see what is coming next from this author and hope she ruins me a little then.
