Make Me Yours by Jennifer Sucevic is now live!

A steamy friends-to-lovers, off-limits, pro hockey romance from USA Today and Amazon top #26 bestselling author Jennifer Sucevic.

Steele Sanderson has always been my safe place.
My best friend.
My constant.
My person.
So when I walk in on my boyfriend—who also happens to be my boss—screwing a colleague on his desk, it’s Steele who picks up the pieces.

Now I’m living in his penthouse, crashing in his guest room, and working as his assistant while I figure out what’s next. Every day, I tell myself this is temporary. That just because he looks at me like I already belong to him doesn’t mean I actually do.

Except... Steele doesn’t see it that way.
To him, I’ve always been his.
The only one he’s ever wanted.
The only one he’s ever loved.
He’s protective.
Possessive.
And done waiting.

I keep telling myself that crossing the line could ruin everything—that risking our friendship isn’t worth it. But when he offers a friends-with-benefits arrangement, promising to give me everything I’ve secretly craved, how can I possibly say no?
It doesn’t take long for the lines between us to blur.

Now I have to decide—keep pretending nothing’s changed or finally give in to the man who’s been right in front of me all along.

Make Me Yours is a swoony, boy-obsessed, friends-to-lovers steamy romance with close proximity, undeniable tension, and a hero who has always been all in. It’s the first book in the Chicago Railers series and can be read as a standalone.

Is there anything better than starting a new series by an author you love? Seriously this one felt like there were so many easter eggs of stories still to come and yet I was so obsessed with Steele and Lilah that I barely acknowledged my family from the second I picked this up. Since the first time I picked up a book from this author I have been a fan. But I really loved the fact that these guys were adults so I don’t have to feel so bad knowing I’m so much older than the characters.

This was the absolute best example of friends to lovers and I don’t know if that’s my sexism showing since Steele was the one doing the pining. Or if it’s just that he was genuinely waiting to shoot his shot while happily playing the part of super supportive best friend. But when he swept in and jumped at every chance to show Lilah why they would be so perfect together I was there for it.

Because he was such a golden retriever until the clothes started coming off and then damn that boy was hot. But he was also super supportive and sweet and emotionally mature and I just couldn’t get enough of watching him care for Lilah. Not that Lilah wasn’t a star herself. She was just a little slower to the party and Steele was book boyfriend goals in every way I couldn’t keep my mind off him.

And as mentioned I can’t wait to see where the rest of the series is going to go and I don’t even care who’s book is next. I just want it now.

I can't believe that's the end of the Western Wildcats. I feel like there's still a few characters I need to get the stories of and I'm praying that they will be the stars of the next series. I'm even more excited for the cameos we've been promised.

The little wrap up that Bridger did towards the end of the book actually gave me a huge warm fuzzy and made me want to barricade myself away to binge the series from the start. But alas the kids are crafty and honestly I'm surprised their spider senses didn't kick in when I was reading the last 10% like it normally does.

Holland and Bridger felt like they were a long time coming and simultaneously instant. The history was something I would have liked a bit more detail on but then it also wasn't needed. Because they had tension for days and seeing it explode was hot.

Holland was such a boss bitch. It was easy to like her. Bridger had been so broken-down over the random messages and as much as I wanted Holland to kick him I also wanted her to wrap him up and love him. They both so desperately needed someone to care for them in such vastly different ways it was the perfect combination. And Bridger's possessive jealousy was just icing on top.

And despite how much I will miss these guys it's beautiful to see where they have all ended up and I am going to be first in line to read what I'm hoping is Steele's book next. Please?

I'm so struggling to find the words to review this book. It's so great to be back with the gang and seeing all the couples and catch up with the ongoing drama. From the minute I picked the book up I didn't want to put it down.

Ava and Hayes were absolute fire together.  From their first meeting the sparks flew and I was holding my breath for their second meeting and then seeing how it was going to proceed from there. Ava had every reason to be hesitant about getting into a relationship and that was before you took into consideration Hayes’ reputation and her dads likely reaction.

And on the subject of Hayes reputation damn did that boy earn the hype. Then to see him fall so hard for Ava I forgot all about his past and was too busy swooning over him. I had all these theories on the how of things playing out and I wanted to strangle Hayes for his actions. Luckily for him he sorted himself out quickly and went back to being boyfriend goals.

I am dying to get my grabby hands on the next one. I really hope it's Bridger, I have to know who's behind all his drama.

What could be worse than having a one-night stand with my twin’s biggest rival on the ice?

Mine to Take, an all-new One-night stand, Brother’s rival, Opposites attract Hockey romance from USA Today bestselling author Jennifer Sucevic is now available!

What could be worse than having a one-night stand with my twin’s biggest rival on the ice?

Umm…nothing.

Nothing is worse than that.

It’s the reason why my brother can never find out that I hooked up with Maverick McKinnon, ridiculously hot defenseman for the Western Wildcats. It doesn’t matter if the memories from our night together are enough to make my toes curl and my panties—

Well, you get the idea.

He’s the first guy to come along and not treat me like I’ll shatter into a million pieces when he lays his hands on me. Even if there’s a teeny tiny part within that would like to see him again, the fallout would be brutal.

I have enough to deal with. Like trying to break out of the box my family has placed me in since my diagnosis.

The only problem?

I’ve lost something valuable.

Something I need back.

And I’m pretty sure whose bed I’ll find it in.

Keep reading for a look inside Mine to Take!

When I remain still—at a crossroads—he whispers, “Come on, sunshine.  Just a few more steps.”

My gaze flickers from his to the necklace draped around his neck.

I’m so close.

And then I can walk away.

Unscathed.

I can leave Maverick McKinnon where he belongs.

Safely tucked away in my memories.

I force myself to eat up the remaining distance.  Air gets clogged in my lungs as my shaking palms settle on the broad expanse of his chest.  His muscles bunch and tighten, straining beneath the flesh.  All the warring thoughts within my brain go silent as my senses are bombarded by him.

The heat of his skin.

The woodsy scent of his cologne that cocoons me in familiarity.

The steady tempo of his heart beating beneath my fingertips.

The harsh breath that belies the calm expression on his face.

I want to soak in this moment so I don’t forget a single second of it.

When my palms slide toward the necklace, his larger hands settle over them, drawing them upward until they’re tangled around his neck and my body is flush against his.

Our gazes stay fastened.

I couldn’t look away even if I wanted to.

“We shouldn’t do this,” I whisper, trying one last time to stop this from happening.

Even to my own ears, the protest is weak.

“Do you love him?”

“Of course.”  The truthful response is out of my mouth before I can think better of it.

Fury flashes in his eyes as his voice dips, sounding as if it’s been roughed up by sandpaper.  It sends a shiver skittering down my spine.

“I’ve never been one to fuck other dude’s girlfriends.”  Just as relief rushes from my lungs, he tacks on, “But I’m going to make an exception in this case.”

Mine to Take 4 Stars

Jennifer Sucevic knows how to write college sports romance. She's one of those authors that you know going in that you're going to be caught up in a story you won't want to put down. And all her books have characters that are kind of interconnected but not so much that you can't read the books as stand-alones.

I'll be honest, it's been a while since I read the last book in the series so going into this, I couldn't remember who these characters were. Then I started reading and bits and pieces came back to me, and I really loved seeing Maverick’s feelings on his sister and best friend being together.

But even more I loved growling, jealous, possessive Maverick. Reading this in dual point of view gave us awesome insight into what an absolute sweetheart Maverick was. It also gave us a chance to stress out over how Maverick was going to react when all the facts came to light.

Willow had so many secrets. But I could understand how she ended up getting stuck in them. And knowing that she didn't do it maliciously and was more concerned about how Maverick would feel I couldn't fault her for delaying in bringing it all out into the open.

The way it all came out and the way everyone reacted was awesome. It felt realistic and made me like all the characters even more. The epilogue was as sweet and hot as the rest of the book had been. And I'm really looking forward to getting Hayes book next and all the others I'm greatly anticipating coming soon after.

Blurb

Colby McNichols, otherwise known as the baby-faced assassin, is the left wing for the Western Wildcats hockey team. All he has to do is sign his name on the dotted line and he’ll play for the pros after his senior season. What I’ve heard from the girls on campus, who aren’t shy about spilling the tea, is that he’s totally earned his reputation.

And then some.

It’s just one of the reasons I choose to steer clear.

Trust me when I say that my life is complicated enough without getting tangled up with a player.

For reasons I can’t fathom, Colby has decided to insert himself in my life. Everywhere I go, there he is. Which makes holding him at a distance nearly impossible. He might be smoking hot but there’s zero point in starting something with this guy. Especially since I can’t be honest about who I am.

Unfortunately, a weekend spent in Vegas changes everything.

Turns out that our friends weren’t the only ones who tied the knot in Sin City.

I can only hope that what they say is true—what happens in Vegas stays there.

Because if it doesn’t…

I’m screwed.

And not in a good way.

“This was an exciting story from the jump with the sassy and witty banter, all the spicy chemistry that led to fiery scenes, and the secrets!! Whoa!” - Jennifer Leigh, Goodreads
