I was absolutely not expecting a single part of this story. The one time I read a blurb for one of my auto buy authors and I think I must have read it with Christmas glasses on because I was expecting a hilarious rom com. What I got was a seriously emotional book with all the feels including quite a few giggles.
Andi was just so closed off, I could almost feel the storm cloud above her head. And initially Cole was just so carefree and easy going I thought he was just fluff. You know, a nice guy, easy to look at, fun to be around but with the depth of their ab grooves. And then he got serious and I was team Cole. Then we met “The Situation” and he became book boyfriend goals.
The addition of Jack and Kate threw me for a sentence and I admit I had to go back and double check I was following. But then that added extra layers to Andi and Cole along with an awesome side story. Beef lived up to his introduction.
And despite the fact I shed a few tears and felt more than I anticipated while reading this book I enjoyed it. The ending was so sweet and everything I could ask for in a romance.
