Every time a
new Until book comes out, I can't wait to get my grabby hands on it. Since I
first picked up Until November, I have been obsessed with the entire Mayson family,
and I am absolutely dreading the end of this amazing family. Aurora Rose
Reynolds has been an automatic one click author since that first book.
Bax was
everything that we can expect from a Mayson man. His past is less than
desirable, but from the second he lays eyes on Olivia the “boom” hits and he is
the perfect over the top, possessive alpha. And of course, for Olivia that
means nothing but trouble without her even realising.
Of course we
got a beautiful, caring, sweet, strong woman who has absolutely no idea of all
that is about to befall her. The good and the bad, but I was there for every
word of it and I didn't want to leave for a second. And now I go back to
impatiently waiting for the next one.
I had
absolutely no idea that this book was due to be released until it landed on my kindle,
and it was the best new years present. The only issue is that I currently have
a houseful of kids and finding time to sneak off and read this was hard. But
once I picked it up, I couldn't put it down.
Lilah Raine
is one of those authors I'm sure has a direct line to my very private reading
kinks. And I read this whole book while squirming. But I had no idea that this
one is the brother of a previous FMC. So, as I was reading it, I suddenly had an
ah ha moment. That said I feel like I've read so many Mafia, arranged marriage
books recently they have all kind of merged and I can't really remember the
exact details.
But Lorna
and Nic were so freaking hot. And surprisingly they were also really sweet, and
I loved that Nic was a complete marshmallow for Lorna while also being
incredibly protective and possessive. And an absolute morally grey hero.
The story
had the perfect amount of twists and turns. And although it was 90% breeding
smut the story kept me turning the pages to see how things were going to play
out. And despite the fact that this has characters from a previous book, and
they are reasonably present in this book it is a complete standalone. I don't
think you miss anything if you read this one first.
Now I'm off
to stalk the author to see what else I've missed while being caught up in the
Christmas fog.
I'm so
struggling to find the words to review this book. It's so great to be back with
the gang and seeing all the couples and catch up with the ongoing drama. From
the minute I picked the book up I didn't want to put it down.
Ava and
Hayes were absolute fire together. From their first meeting the sparks
flew and I was holding my breath for their second meeting and then seeing how
it was going to proceed from there. Ava had every reason to be hesitant about
getting into a relationship and that was before you took into consideration
Hayes’ reputation and her dads likely reaction.
And on the
subject of Hayes reputation damn did that boy earn the hype. Then to see him
fall so hard for Ava I forgot all about his past and was too busy swooning over
him. I had all these theories on the how of things playing out and I wanted to
strangle Hayes for his actions. Luckily for him he sorted himself out quickly
and went back to being boyfriend goals.
I am dying
to get my grabby hands on the next one. I really hope it's Bridger, I have to
know who's behind all his drama.

Henley
Holloway is my boss’s daughter and I’ve been assigned to mentor her.
The problem
is, I’m not looking to babysit anyone.
But I’m
determined to make partner at the firm, and this is the final obstacle in my
way.
So, I agree
to take the little princess under my wing.
I’ll work
her so hard, she’ll beg me to leave her alone.
But from the
first day she walks into the office and spills scalding hot coffee on my
chest—I’m intrigued.
She’s a
Harvard grad.
Her work
ethic rivals mine.
She’s
witty and funny and beautiful all at the same time.
I don’t want
to like her.
I have a
hard and fast rule about relationships, and I will not break it with my boss’s
daughter.
That’s a
hard no.
But she’s
everywhere I turn, and I can’t seem to get enough.
Weren’t
rules meant to be broken anyway?
From the
moment we cross the line—I’m done for.
Henley
Holloway has seeped her way into my heart, one that I didn’t even know still
worked.
But
sometimes loving someone isn’t enough.
I’m living
proof of that.

I need to
preface this by saying that I signed up for this book at least a month ago and
I didn't check the blurb before I jumped in. So as I started reading it I had
no clue that this is a semi (not really) spin off from the series I binged by
this author not that long ago. But little things kept tickling my memory and
then bam beefcake entered the page, and I had a massive omg moment.
Now there's
literally no reason that you can't read this as a standalone. I just love
seeing characters I love in other books like a little Easter egg. I knew that
this series was going to be based on Emmy's brothers and it really started off
strong.
I am not a
huge fan of workplace romance so for the first few chapters I was wondering
what I had gotten myself into. Then I was too busy falling for Henley and
Easton together. Because they were super cute and just as steamy. They both had
their own things happening and I was absorbed in seeing it all play out.
I am so
excited to see the other brothers fall. I just hate that I have to wait.
Luckily for me there's a whole back catalogue just waiting for me to dive in.
