I started this series when Harper first released Axel and fell madly in lust with him. but then I had to wait for Beck to be written and have had it on my TBR list with no doubt I was coming back to it, but it just kept falling further and further down the pile as new books were added. But then I saw the rave reviews for Bleeding Love and so being the idiot I am I didn't stop to check I just went right on and one clicked Unexpected Fate and devoured it. Of course part way through it clicked that I knew these characters so I backtracked and did a little research and realised it was a Corps Security spin off so as soon as I finished I raced back to Amazon and one clicked the rest of that series and went on an alpha male binge.

Now that the lust has started to clear from my brain I figure it's about time I settle in and write a review.

As I mentioned it's been a while since I read the first 2 in the series so I was a little rusty on the story line but this didn't detract from the book at all. I remembered my favourites and as I read bits and pieces came back to me and I was hooked.

Beck was so amazing and beautiful I just wanted to rip him from the pages and keep him in my pants forever. Watching everything they went through and seeing his complete faith in Dee and his absolute belief that not only was she worth every obstacle that had to be overcome but that their love was so solid made me smile like an idiot.

I love that with these books we don't just get a love story, we get a family, we get action and drama and a story that has the ability to keep me so captivated I can't put it down and I immediately have to jump into the next one to see how the other members of this perfect crew are going to get their HEA.

I absolutely loved every second of this book. And Harper Sloan has cemented herself as a must read author with her perfect alphas and story lines that keep me flipping pages at 3am cause I can't go to sleep until I know how it all plays out.

So if you haven't read this series yet do yourself a favour and grab it now.

What can I say? Harper Sloan is awesome. I was in the mood for a growly, possessive alpha and damn did she deliver.

When I first picked up this book I didn't realise it was a spin off from corps security so when I get to 10% I wanted to finish the corps security series so I didn't miss anything but I just couldn't put it down. I only read this because I was seeing amazing reviews for bleeding love and this was the first in the series.

I admit the story was somewhat predictable but with that said it had the most perfect and unique secondary characters that keep it fresh and interesting as well as having literally growling alpha makes so I was in heaven.

I absolutely fell madly in lust with Cohen from the first.  He could not have been any better. Dani would normally have been a character I would dislike but with everything going on and all the things I loved with this book my normal eye rolling triggers got over looked and I didn't mind her.

Now I am going to go back to where I left off with corps security to inhale them since I am now craving all things Harper Sloan.

I wasn't sure Fighting Shadows could live up to the feels and depth of emotion Fighting Silence made me feel. And I was so worried about how Flint was going to deal with his feelings for Eliza I really went into this book feeling a crazy mix of hope and stomach churning apprehension. I mean honestly Fighting Silence was pretty damn close to perfection (naked pics of Till throughout would have nailed it if your wondering what more I could need) and the ending finished off Eliza and Till's story so perfectly I honestly didn't need more, but when I saw this one damn did I want it.

So we go into this book with a bit of background on Flint, if you have read the first book ( this isn't a must but you would be doing yourself an injustice just cause it's amaze balls) and absolutely nothing on Ash except for our brief introduction to the absolute douchery of her father in book one. And her introduction was perfect.

So there I was from the beginning, tears running down my face as I fell back under the spell of this amazing author and had the flawless love story of Ash and Flint played out in my hands in such a way that they now share real estate with Eliza and Till in my heart.

Flint is one of the wonderful Page brothers, who have literally dragged themselves up from nothing and fought for everything they have. And at every turn they are put through hell. Flint escaped the hearing loss that Till and Quarry have inherited, only to throw himself in front of a bullet to save Eliza.

But rather than sulk and moan his paralysis he is trapped in his guilt over his forbidden feelings for his brothers wife. So he does what he thinks he has to and leaves the family to get his shit together.

But life always has to throw more shit on these boys shovels and a new drama is presented for them to fight. But with it comes Ash and from the first moment she meets Flint she is captivated.

Ash is a character like no other. The girl had so many quirks and such an amazing, giving heart it is hard not to fall for her. Not that she really gave Flint any other option, if he had tried to resist that is. Of course if you have read the blurb you know Ash is a runner, like Flint she has spent her whole life fighting but never had anyone fight for her and doesn't realise she is worth fighting for.

Luckily for Ash, Flint knows she is worth fighting for and when she runs he chases. And he just further proves how amazing the Page boys are.

And now having been teased with the start of poor Quinn's story I am already heartbroken and very impatiently holding my breath for that to be released.

But for now if you haven't yet one click this right now and if you didn't read Fighting Silence grab that as well, find a comfy spot to curl up and be sure to take your tissues cause these are my top two must read, ugly cries of the year.

Since the moment I first picked up Until November, Aurora has been a must read author for me. I just love her novels so much. And this book was just further proof of her right to be on the very high pedestal I have her placed on.

Lea has returned home to nurse her mother through the last stages of cancer after having left fifteen years ago, running from her grief over her father’s sudden death, leaving behind her high school sweetheart. As Lea returns to her small town home she is confronted by everything she left behind as well as the anger Austin feels over her sudden departure.

But as the blurb alludes, nothing is as cut and dry as both Lea and Austin think and old hurts and misunderstandings are revealed and Austin realises that all of his anger is misdirected.

Aurora writes the most amazing, alpha men who it is impossible not to fall in instant love with. And Austin was absolute perfection. From the second he discovers that Lea may have left him physically but she has never stopped being his he stakes his claim and from that second on there is no doubt in anyone’s mind that their love was inevitable.

From the start Fighting to Breathe had me feeling so many emotions; I literally couldn’t put the book down until I had seen how their story played out. And despite the copious amounts of tears I shed while reading this book I put it down with all of my broken pieces repaired and a smile in my soul.

If you’re a fan of possessive, growly, protective, loving alpha men who make your panties melt and your heart pound this author is for you and you HAVE to one click this book right now.
