Oh damn was this book heartbreaking in all the very best of ways. And yes I know that sounds weird but every time I cried I had a smile on my face. Because even though these characters went through the very worst time of their lives they came out stronger and far from broken. Even if it took them some time to realise it.

 

Lily and Theo started off kind of at odds. Each of them, stuck in their own grief and guilt and not sure how they should feel or act. And I seriously loved watching them work it out and begin to heal. Even if they still have a lot of things outside of their control they are on the track of a beautiful future.

 

The secondary characters were just as awesome and I'm hoping that we will get their stories and maybe catch up with lily and Theo in the near future. Because every single one of these characters is someone I need to see get their very own happily ever after.
