Oh my god I hate it here. I have had this book on my TBR forever, but it sounded super emotional and I kept putting it off. Because although I love books full of emotion, I never want to read them. Then I find myself in the middle of them loving every word. But when I read the blurb for the next book and had to have it, I knew I had to read this one first so I grabbed the audio while I picked up the toy room.

Billie and Dare had a super emotional story, and I couldn't put it down. I also didn't want to be in the middle of all those feels. Because Melissa wrote this book in such a way that I felt like I was living it along with them. And I admit I wished I hadn't started this book while I lay in bed unable to put it down with tears running down my face.

As with all these books we get a massive amount of secondary characters who are awesome and will be woven through the rest of the series. It's a perfect stand-alone but there were mentions of former book characters to tickle my memory. And a solid introduction to the upcoming books characters that has my dying to dive into it.
