This book landed on my kindle at the worst time for real life distractions. Every time I picked it up, I was pulled away to put out another disaster, so I really struggled to get into it. Then I found some time and literally flew through the last 70% of it.
Typical Sara Ney it was quirky and hilarious, and both characters were cute and endearing. To be honest but, I expected more from Nova. After meeting her in Gio and Austin's book I thought she would be more of a firecracker and would give Gio a serious kicking for trying to interfere in who she was dating.
Luckily Luca had a pretty solid ego and didn't let things that upset him get in the way of fighting for what he wanted. And of course, cameos from Gio helped me understand more of Nova's, I really want to say pussyness, but that feels a little judgy. So, I'm going to say reticence. And like I said Luca didn't let that deter him too much.
Overall once I managed to get wrapped up, I went through all the feels with this story, and I am curious to see how Poppy's going to go with her new roommates.
