I feel like the countdown to this book took forever. I finally had some time to kick back and relax with a good book but I couldn’t get into anything because I was too busy anxiously awaiting this one. And then it was on my kindle and I couldn’t pick it up because the kids were being needy so I had to wait. Once I finally picked it up I did not want to put it down. Adulting is such bullshit.

After I read Ashton and Jamie’s book I was a massive Delaney fan. But it didn’t occur to me that this was going to be her book until Bella spelled it out and then it was “of course.” Firstly, because after meeting Delaney we needed her story. Then because yes, who better than Ryker to help heal her past and build her a beautiful future.

And oh mylanta this book delivered. It had ALL the feels. It had drama and steam and banter and just everything we have all come to expect from this author. I loved Delaney so much. She had lived through hell and never once played the victim. That girl had a spine of steel with a heart of gold and she got the book boyfriend goals she deserved.

Ryker with his “my wife” and his protectiveness and softness. He was peak masculinity and I loved them together so much. Tori, the pet pig, was an awesome character addition and I can’t wait to catch her cameos in future books. And now I go back to waiting for the next book 🙁
