Ahh this series is living in my head rent free. Every time I think we are going to get all the answers or atleast a good majority of them along comes a few more twists and turns to tie me up in knots. And honestly with my goldfish brain I pick these books up and I can’t think of a single thing that happened previously but with this series it all comes rushing back and I’m smack in the thick of it.
Brinley was so innocent to all the drama plaguing the Rixton boys when she stumbled into town looking for answers. When suddenly she's smack in the centre of it and I couldn’t help but feel so devastated for her. Although once she bumps into Cooper she really doesn't need any sympathy.
Cooper was everything you could want in a new adult hero. He was so protective of Brinley and so determined to keep her safe. He did have moments where I kind of wanted to smack him a little but he always did it with the right intentions so it was easy to forgive him.
I can’t wait to see how all of this drama is going to play out. And I am dying to see what’s going on with Atlee and whether poor Cooper’s head will actually explode over it all. And I love seeing the guys and their ladies' relationships progress in each new book. But now we go back to waiting for the next one.
