As soon as there's a new Jennifer Sucevic novel I'm right there, I always fail to read the blurb. I don't look at teasers because I have zero self control and a habit of fixating on books I can't read yet and being unable to read other books while I'm waiting. So, I open each one like it's a surprise present. Then I realise it's a Railers book and I'm so excited.

Knox and Cheyenne are the main characters in this book but there's so many characters we already know and love, and few we hate and some who's story we needed to already be out in the world. And I love that while reading this and falling for Knox and Cheyenne we also get so much more.

Don't get me wrong, the romance between Knox and Cheyenne was enough. Everything else was just the icing. Knox was the perfect mix of protective and possessive and watching him love and support Chey was awesome.

I expected more drama and chaos from Cheyenne's past as we got towards the end and as I watched the pages pass I was bracing. But that wasn't how it played out and what we got was so much more. We got such an emotional part of Evelyn and Hugh's history I actually needed to go back to the light and beauty of Cheyenne and Knox.

Add in the teasers for Sloane and Jax and I think the next book is going to be all the feels. It already is shaping up to have a lot of great tropes.
