Hail Mary by Kandi Steiner is now live!

Leo F*cking Hernandez.

North Boston University’s star running back, notorious bachelor, and number one on my people I would murder if I could get away with it list.

And now?

He’s my new roommate.

I used to think I loved him.

But that was before I hated him.

He doesn’t remember who I am, or how he made my life miserable for years. And before I unknowingly moved across the street from him, I couldn’t have cared less. I was living my life despite him and what happened that summer, chasing my dream of becoming a tattoo artist.

“The Pit,” as the university so gracefully nicknamed the house he lives in with three other football players, has served as nothing more than a pain in my ass and a constant reminder of the boy who broke my heart. Watching him parade his one-night-stands in and out of it never helped, either.

But with rent this cheap and so close to the tattoo shop, I’ve learned to ignore him — no matter how he’s tried to get under my skin.

At least, until this summer. Because when a water and mold disaster leaves me with no choice but to vacate my house, I have nowhere to go. And Leo Hernandez offers me a deal I can’t refuse.

Live at The Pit with him and the guys, free of charge, until my landlord fixes this mess.

Ignoring him was easy when I lived across the street, but in the same house, with him shirtless half the time and watching me with his cocky grin and searing gaze? It’s impossible.

Still, I have to try. I have to push him away, even when he makes it infuriatingly difficult to do so.

He’s broken my heart once.

I won't let him do it again.

Meet Kandi

Kandi Steiner is an Amazon Top 5 bestselling author and whiskey connoisseur living in Tampa, FL. Best known for writing "emotional rollercoaster" stories, she loves bringing flawed characters to life and writing about real, raw romance -- in all its forms. No two Kandi Steiner books are the same, and if you're a lover of angsty, emotional, and inspirational reads, she's your gal.

An alumna of the University of Central Florida, Kandi graduated with a double major in Creative Writing and Advertising/PR with a minor in Women's Studies. She started writing back in the 4th grade after reading the first Harry Potter installment. In 6th grade, she wrote and edited her own newspaper and distributed to her classmates. Eventually, the principal caught on and the newspaper was quickly halted, though Kandi tried fighting for her "freedom of press."

She took particular interest in writing romance after college, as she has always been a die hard hopeless romantic, and likes to highlight all the challenges of love as well as the triumphs.

When Kandi isn't writing, you can find her reading books of all kinds, planning her next adventure, or pole dancing (yes, you read that right). She enjoys live music, traveling, playing with her fur babies and soaking up the sweetness of life.

This book is a massive contradiction of thank God we finally get Leo and Mary AND omg I can't believe that's the end of it. These guys and their amazing women have been so awesome I don't want the series to be done. In fact, don't some of our other boys deserve to find their very own HEA.

Ok so I'll circle back to the begging for more after I tell you obviously you have to read this book. If you've read any of the others, you probably already have this one pre-ordered. But if you're a little hesitant because let's be honest no one is expecting much from Leo - fucking - Hernandez in the boyfriend department. And despite watching the sparks fly from him and Mary I would not have been shocked if she got him to hold a can of gasoline and a match before she ever let him touch her.

Honestly after the teaser at the end of the last book I thought for sure Mary would sleep in her car before she would stay at the pit. But then as I got to see them in their own stories, I fell head over heels for both of them. Who knew Leo could have so much depth to him and on top of that give amazing boyfriend. I really, really loved their history and seeing it from both of their points of view just made it all the more heart-breaking and yet perfect.

I love that Mary and Leo - fucking - Hernandez were both pretty mature about talking things through once everything was out on the table. There was no jealousy or other people drama, which I'll be honest, surprised me. And everything that happened I really wasn't expecting. And yet I devoured every word of it. I laughed, I cried, and I cheered and then I kept right on reading.

That epilogue was golden. I adored seeing everyone all together and everyone growing up and starting their lives. And like I said the only negative is those two little words. The end. Because I am not emotionally ready to walk away from all these guys. I think Braden and Kyle need books please or even Blake. Please. Ok ok I'll stop but only because I am sure the pro hockey books will be worth waiting for.

Quarterback Sneak by Kandi Steiner is now live!

Quarterback Holden Moore can have any girl he wants.
Except me: the coach's daughter.

With piercing green eyes, herculean biceps, and irresistible dimples, Holden is the number one target for every girl on campus. But according to his teammates, football is the only love of his life.

He's their leader, their QB1 and team captain who is all business and no play.

But when I'm with him? Mr. Serious isn't serious at all. He loves to push my buttons, to pin me with those sexy eyes of his and tease me until I bite back.

I remind him I'm off limits.
He can't have me, and I don't want him—or anyone else, for that matter.

I'm here for one reason: to show my father I'm more than his greatest disappointment.

But when an old injury flares up and I'm forced to work with Holden every day as his athletic trainer, his attempts to get under my skin start becoming harder to resist.

We can't give in, no matter how much the air crackles between us when we're close.
I'm the coach's daughter, and if Holden Moore wants to go pro, he's got to play by daddy's rules.

Otherwise, he'll be off the team.
And he's not the only one with something to lose.

This series has been like a slow burning fire. I grabbed one book, got a few pages in and thought it felt like there was a book before it. Stalked and found the previous book, dove in and devoured it, jumped straight into the next book and then waited forever (ok it was a few months, but it felt like forever) for this book and now here we are.

Holden has been this steady, solid presence through all of the previous books and when I read the blurb for this one I couldn't reconcile it with him. He isn't one to go against his coach or do anything to jeopardize football in any way. And since we hadn't yet been introduced to Julep, I wasn't sure what to expect from her.

What we got was so much heat. The chemistry between them literally had me clenching my thighs while reading it. But the emotional wringer that Julep was living in and the way she dealt with it was the opposite of Holden's solid personality. And that just made them work and made the connection they had that much stronger.

Because Holden is just book boyfriend goals. And I really loved him so sooo much. His uncle's and cousin were just extra icing on the package. There were so many times I thought things that happened would play out a certain way or things would develop off them and it just didn't. So, the book kept me guessing to the end and all I can say is Holden absolutely owned it. Which isn't to take away from how awesome Julep was, because I loved her and am so happy that these guys got such a beautiful HEA.

Ok so this book has been everywhere and when I went to check it out on kindle it was in KU so I grabbed it and then threw on $3.50 whispersync. So, I alternated between listening and reading this and I loved every minute of it.

Clay and Giana were both great characters. They both had their own life issues happening and they each were just such nice, likeable people I loved them both. At moments I thought Giana was the absolute show of the story and then Clay went off and was all boyfriend goals and I thought he had stolen the show and then Giana would pop up in her sweet awkward backbone of steel way so in the end I just think they were both awesome and perfect for each other.

I am so glad I read Fair Catch right before this. Not because it was needed but just because after I put this down I know I would be jumping into it since the next one isn't released for a while and I hate reading them out of order. And I can't wait to get my grabby hands on Holden's book now.

I read and loved The Wrong Game by Kandi and then went and added a heap of her books to my TBR and promptly forgot that I liked her writing and wanted to read more as her books slowly fell down my TBR. Then Blind Side popped up every-freaking-where and I went to grab it from kindle and saw it was on KU. I got half way through the first page and it mentioned the characters from Fair catch and I realised they were interconnected so I went back to KU and grabbed this one to read first. Then I threw on the whispersync and listened to half of it and I have to say I enjoyed both reading and listening to it.

The characters were great and so was the narration. Riley had moments when she was a little knee jerk reactive to silly things but she was steered straight and got over herself. And now I get to dive into Blind Side knowing who's who and what just happened. Can't wait.
