So this is a first book from this author and when I read the blurb it sounded like something I would love. And I am enjoying the story and loving the characters. I seriously think this author could become one of my favourite reads if this series continues how I think it's going to and as the authors writing skills continue to improve.

Way back when, I remember reading an amazing book where the author said show don't tell and every now and then when I read a book that I feel is talking at me not to me that always pops in my head. Now don't get me wrong it isn't a bad thing per say it just takes me a bit to get into the flow of things.

This book is told in dual point of view which I love. I did find it a little tedious that when we swapped points of view we saw the previous scene from the second person's perspective. Personally this made the story drag a little. I just want to know what's going to happen next not go over the fact it's raining.

The story was somewhat predictable but it was well told and kept me invested. I really loved the characters, both the main characters were awesome and I really wanted to see them get everything they deserved. I was absolutely dying to see how things were going to happen and I couldn’t wait to see how her brothers were going to react to the relationship. I really enjoyed the secondary characters as well and I am hoping to see a lot more of them and look forward to being introduced to some new hockey players.

I really can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
