This Is the first book from this author I have had the pleasure to read. And honestly I read the blurb and it sounded like the type of fun, lighthearted story I was in the mood for. And I am so glad I picked it up.
Molly's writing was great and I loved that the main character was a romance novelist. Olive was such an interesting character. I loved that she had all these kooks that made her, her and she didn't try to cover them up. And as someone who would rather be in my bedroom with my laptop sans pants and bra I could totally relate. If only I had a crazy hot fireman walking around half naked.
Hank was pretty awesome himself. And I couldn't put it down once I started. He knew Olive was it for him and he went all out to prove it to her. Add in his crazy cat and it was impossible not to love him.
For a story that was light on drama with a lot of laughs it still had a fair bit of emotion and it kept me flipping the pages wondering what was going to happen next. And I am going to have to read Lord waffles book in the not too distant future now that I know what to expect from Molly.
