I don't even know what I was expecting picking this book up but what I got was a lot. First this is a new series but it's set in a familiar town. With some crossover references to previous characters which made it feel comfortable and familiar.
Collins and Theo were awesome together. Although the way this was written we barely got their initial meeting. But because of that we got so much of the present them. Which gave us so much of Theo being all sweet and swoony and impossible not to fall for.
Meanwhile Collins was there with her beautiful heart and strength thinking she was the villain of the story. Everything she had been through made her so amazing and I couldn't get enough of how everyone around her saw that.
The epilogues were cute but I could have stayed in this book for days. And I can't wait for the next book, hopefully we get more Collins and Theo.

This
was such a cute and easy to read little Christmas novella. Except for the fact
it's reminded me how very close to Christmas we are. And now I want to run
around screaming with my hands flailing.

and Iris don't look like they would match well on paper. They shared some
really fun banter and bickered like kids and made this a great read for a lazy
afternoon.
I
really don't want to say anything other than read it. It's an Ilsa Madden Mills
novella, how could you not one click it?
After
being wiped out for 3 days with a migraine I got up this morning still feeling
like arse and a little screen sensitive so I thought I would try an audible
book. First can I say, man, I managed to make that a mission and a half. I
didn't want one that was too long, I had to do a sample of all of them to see
which voices I liked and finally I had to figure out WTF I felt like reading. Yeah
I was dumb enough to consider content last after finding a heap of books that
passed the first 2 barriers only for me to not be feeling them.
Finally,
I picked up Kinda Don't Care because, Lani Lynn Vale and those narrator's. Damn
those were some soothing, easy to listen to voices. I really need to find more
of their books. Now, I don't really listen to a lot of audio books because I
need something to do with my hands and because I find my eyes wandering and
dragging my attention with them. Also because with toddlers being toddlers I am
always having to put it down and pausing always makes me miss a minute, and my
temper from being disturbed.

and Janie were great together. They were both very interesting and despite the
fact that there was that slight issue of them both being engaged to other
people I was so invested in their relationship. Although I really wish I had
read some of the other books first because I need to know all their stories. I
love as much as I hate that all these characters are woven throughout all of
these series, cause I keep reading them backwards.
As
always Lani delivered an amazing story that sucked me in from the first page
until the very end. And the voices were on point and I'm so glad I finally
committed to this for my day of rest and recovery because this was the perfect
read. It had enough going on to keep me completely wrapped up in the story and
a heap of really random laugh out loud moments. Loved It.
When the Bailey's series finishes, I wasn't ready to see it end. It has felt a little like watching my own family grow up. I have loved watching them all fall in love and get married and have babies. But I have especially loved G'ma Dori and Ethel conspire and plot and plan. They were hilarious and I am really looking forward to the next series where they turn their eyes to Ethel's family.
In this one we got the points of view of a handful of G'ma Dori's great-grandchildren. And through that we saw the planning of her 90th birthday party and of course caught up with the goings on of all the family.
It was great, light-hearted, sweet fun. I could not have been happier. It really felt like it closed off the Bailey series in such a perfect way and at least we all know we can go back and visit any time we need.
Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!!!! If you're like me and fell in love with Helena Hunting and her Pucked series you know she can write some seriously funny shit. She also writes some of the best characters. And I love her for both of those things. I know when I pick up one of her books, I'm going to get quirky, unique, real people who make me laugh out loud and feel all their emotions while I get lost in their world.
So Kiss my Cupcake was a long way from Pucked but it was just as awesome. Even without the hockey hotties and beavers and such. Because it had Blaire and Ronan and all kinds of awesomeness. Honestly, I don't know what to tell you except read this right now.
Blaire was just gah. She was unique and sweet and different and driven and just so damn relatable. From the first page I was obsessed with her. And her meeting with Ronan just made me love her more. They had such chemistry and their relationship developed so organically I felt like I was right there with them every step.
Ronan was awesome and the dynamic of their relationship was perfect. From the minute I picked this up to the last page I was so engrossed. I just could not get enough of them or their businesses or the secondary characters or any of it. One of my best reads this year.
It's moments like these I really appreciate KU. As soon as I put down Ridges book I automatically jumped on over and grabbed Wes's story. And even though I had a fairly good idea of what I was getting into I enjoyed the writing and the story.
