Another happy trip back to Happy Cat to visit my beautiful O'Dell family and this one was Christmas themed. Squeal. Really words can't describe how much this all just worked for me.
The super sexy Clint with all his meme's made me laugh out loud. Especially when it's the town's retirement village leading the charge on the meme making. Those old ladies are such great value. I love their dirty little filterless minds and I so can't wait to be them when I grow up.
Clint was everything I expected a bad ass marine to be and so much sweeter. And he was perfect for Noelle. And I really enjoyed them together.
I honestly was completely convinced for the whole story that I knew exactly what was going on with the bakery that I seriously didn't see the actual storyline coming. And I can't complain because what I got worked so well for everyone.
I hope that this isn't the end of my Happy Cat series now that all of the O'Dell boys are married off because I can't get enough of the town and the crazy animals they have all accepted or adopted. Or the fact that if the place was real I would have my things and hubby packed faster than you could say Chuck Norris who?
But for now I have to go to sleep because it is so late but I couldn't put the book down before I finished it even if my eyes are trying to fall out of my head.

I know I say this after every book in the series but I really love Happy Cat. That town is seriously crazy in all the best of ways. I can't even think about the series without getting a big cheesy grin on my face.
And the chemistry between Hope and Blake has been simmering in the background of the previous books. And I have been dying to find out why there was so much animosity between them. And I can honestly say I didn't see that coming.
Hope is such a sweetheart and I have been a huge fan of hers forever. Her anxiety over her affect on electrical appliances and her concern for all the Happy Cats furred citizens made her my hero.
But as much as I liked her I really loved Blake too. For all the snark between him and Hope he always came running to her rescue. He was such an awesome leading man. And when his alpha alpaca came out I did get a little swoony. I would have liked to see a little more of his vines and tasting room but it was far from necessary to the story.
I personally didn't find this one as funny as the previous books but I did get a few laugh out loud moments and the emotion felt a little deeper. And the little teases for Clint and cupcake have me dying for the next book in the series. As much as for them as for the sneak peeks into everyone else's HEA's.

Squeeeeeeeee!!! Oh my god that was awesome and just as adorbs as Hosed. I picked it up this afternoon and fell so deep into Happy Cat I literally couldn't put it down. I had forgotten that this was the second book in the series and just started reading it and it all came flooding back with George Cooney. Damn I love that little rodent.
Olivia was so airy fairy and I remember her from the first book and although that's not my thing I loved everything about her. And I actually felt her sunshine presence as I read the book. She was just so much sunshine and light I could feel it radiate onto the huge smile I had the whole time I was reading the book.
And even though there was a bit more emotion in this than the first one it was still funny as hell in parts and the whole vibe of the book was so happy. I am still smiling just thinking about it and yet it still had some great chemistry and despite the fact Jace was marrying someone else for half of the book the romance was sweet as cake.
But before you panic no it isn't really a love triangle kind of thing you just have to trust Jace and see. Because Jace was awesome and I loved how he dealt with everything. It just felt so genuine and caring and he was so swoony. I loved seeing him with Olivia and hearing his inner thoughts just made him even sweeter.
And now I am even more obsessed with Happy Cat and it's inhabitants and I can't wait to see who is the next couple to be getting their story told. Fingers crossed it's Hope, although Savannah deserves it after her ex's stunts. But no matter who it is I will be one clicking like a hedgehog on a squirrels tail 😉

OMG that book was cute. Like super cute. I can't think of a better way to describe it other than that. I think this is the first book I have read from these authors together and I loved every word of it.
Cass was a really sweet, funny, nerdy, character and I really enjoyed getting to know her. And Ryan was a pretty good hero who I really liked. But the absolute star of the story for me was George. I loved him. He was such a character and I really want one.
In regards to the story. It was great, and for a reasonably short book with a lot going on we got a lot of background info on both characters, some great secondary characters who I sincerely hope will be getting books of their own. The small town setting was awesome and I feel like I know the whole town.
This book was just a whole mess of sweet, sexy, funny times and I really had a good time reading it.
