It’s official, I read way too much hockey romance for a girl who hasn’t even seen snow. What’s worse is half of my go to, one click authors are very similar and reading 3 back to back I start second guessing if I know every other secondary character. But no this is a new series from the very talented Kendall Ryan and it’s just set up the next few characters perfectly.
While I was 100% in on Tori and Zayden, the fact that all these big hockey guys were equally invested and trying to make things happen made me love them too. And now I can’t wait to get their books.
Zayden was so busy trying to hold everything together and I couldn’t get enough of him and how beautifully he loved Maisie. She was his first thought and yet he didn’t fail to make Tori a priority or show her that he was there for her. Tori’s hesitance was completely understandable but she didn’t try to deny her feelings.
I really appreciated having mature characters who discussed their issues and worked together to make things work. And I have no doubt that with Banks and Winnie up next we are going to see even more of these guys and watch their relationship and hopefully family grow.
