This couple feels like they have been a long time coming. And then this book feels like a collision. It basically started with a bang and just kept me watching the push and pull to see how Oliver was going to win over Rina.

I really hate to say it but I liked Rina a lot more as a secondary character. In everyone else's book she was just such a bad bitch. And while I completely understand and appreciate that obviously we got to see behind the walls, she kind of annoyed me. As much as I can sympathise with an instant baby, and the fears and changes that stirs up it just felt like she kept standing in her own way.

Luckily the biggest surprise was the mostly unseen depth and maturity of Oliver. He knew what he wanted and went for it without hesitation. Sometimes that was a little backwards but his actions backed his words so I couldn’t fault him.

We got a bit more Evelyn and Hugh, yay. But the slow drip feed of them is such a tease. I just want it all now please. I’m now also dying to get my hands on Laiken’s book. I hate waiting.
