Holy shit. I just jumped into this book completely blind not really paying attention to what I had picked up and got three chapters in before I realised this is the book I was dying to read. Because after getting to know Kylie a little through her brother's book I was rabid to see her get a HEA.

And if I'm being completely honest Knox wouldn't have been my first pick for her. And after the way he acted after their first few meetings I was literally growling, wanting her to kick him in the …….. umm, shins would be a safe start and not look back. Don’t get me wrong I was devastated for Knox and then so freaking mad for him, but geez stop being a rude acehole to the wrong people.

But then Knox really stepped up and I loved that he didn’t back down or even entertain his family's garbage. And the way he defended Kylie was beautiful. But really, the way she defended him was even better. And she did it with so much class without putting herself into areas that she didn’t need to be and it just cemented her as a favourite.

I listened to the audio of this and the narrators were perfect. I didn’t want to stop listening and the time just flew by. I have read the series in order but they can absolutely all be read as standalones without missing anything except how everyone is interconnected, which isn't really relevant to the actual story. But they are all awesome so get ready to add a new auto click author.
