I feel like we have been waiting for this book for so long, but I also need to acknowledge that it hasn’t really been that long. Which is lucky because I picked it up and the previous books came flooding back. And I couldn’t put this one down, so I read it in one sitting and then was sad we have to wait for the next one.
Livy and Bash had a history that we only learn in this book that made me understand why Bash was so over the top protective. And I couldn’t get enough of his psycho inside thoughts, the amount of times I giggled when he thought something unhinged is actually a little embarrassing. But idk if that says more about me or Bash or the author.
Livy was solid. It’s nice to have a na character who is strong and independent and yet also trusts her instincts. And her girl crew is going to be fun to get to know and watch their stories unravel. I am so excited to see where this series is going to go and to see how some of my character theories play out.
I have to admit I feel slightly obsessed over this author's work, but with her characters I’m in good company so I’ll own it. Kisses
