I saw the blurb for this book and I was hanging out to read it. I thought I knew exactly what I was getting into when I picked this book up and started reading it but damn was I so far off the mark it’s actually embarrassing.

And honestly if I had of had more of an idea what this book was about I maybe would have held off on reading it, as it does deal with a few themes that I tend to avoid. That said once I started it I was hooked, I had to know how it was all going to go.

From the start I hated Noah. I seriously wanted him to be hit by a falling meteor, he had so many douche moments I didn’t think he could come back from. If it hadn’t been dual POV I might have thrown my kindle in a massive hissy fit at his bullshit but luckily for me Jenny was awesome and she sucked me in straight away.

Not only was Jenny sweet and caring but she was so forgiving and interesting I wanted to know how it was all going to come out for her. There was maybe one or two times I wanted her to “man up” and kick Noah in the dick but then I could understand how he sucked her back in.

But as much as I disliked Noah he did have plenty of redeeming qualities and he managed to make amends and step up by the end. However the complete winner was that epilogue. It was perfect.

Although this is book 2 in the Unexpected Love Series it is a complete and total stand alone with no cross over to book 1 at all. However you can check out my review to Blurred Lines here
