I love Emma Hart. Her books are always the perfect balance of funny, sweet, emotional and hot.

Parker has been best friends with Raven’s older brother their whole lives, their mothers are best friends and live next door to each other yet they can’t be in the same room without fighting like cats and dogs. This is how it’s been their whole lives. When Raven has a staff shortage her only solution is to hire Parker to run her kitchen.

As they spend more time together the sexual tension between the two is off the charts. The banter between the two of them was so realistic and hilarious, I was completely hooked. The whole book felt like one big constant stream of foreplay. I was either laughing or squirming and I loved every second of it.

Raven was such an awesome heroine. And I loved her family and the interaction between them all was great. The secondary characters were all great additions and the whole thing just worked so well. The drama was in perfect perspective and didn’t feel like drama for the sake of drama. Overall it was the perfect enemies to lovers with an older brother’s best friend twist. Go grab it now.
