As soon as I finished The Bombshell Effect I ran straight back to KU and grabbed this. I am so enjoying the world and characters and I am so upset there is only one more book in the series. Thankfully I got to the party late though because I still have a load more books from Karla Sorensen's library.

I went into this with a little bit of an idea of who Ava was from the last book, but Matthew was a new character. Seeing the unflappable Ava all flustered and tongue tied was awesome, until we saw why. And I immediately loved her more and desperately wanted her to tell her family to take a jump off a cliff.

Matthew was so steadfast in his understanding of Ava's family issues since he had seen them firsthand. So, from the moment he decided to go all in he was supportive on Ava dealing with them how she felt was right and I appreciated that. Especially since he was such a take control kind of guy.

The chemistry was hot. And I loved watching their relationship develop with the dual point of view. The drama was slightly predictable but not in a bad way, just in a logical, realistic way. And I really didn't want to put it down. I'm a little intimidated by Paige but I can't wait to see more of Logan so I'm off to grab the next one and dive in.
