I found this book through a teaser on Facebook. I saw it, thought it sounded good and added it to my TBR and then finished reading the two books I had to read. Then I went back to Goodreads to find it and for some reason it wasn't on my TBR and all I could remember was the line from the teaser. I spent an hour trawling through Facebook until I found it because that's how my brain works. 

 

So, I found a new to me author through a random Facebook post and now I'm obsessed. Because this book was exactly what I wanted when I went looking for it. Ash was very self-aware, which I really love in new adult heroines. But even more than that she was able to accept that the actions of the people around her weren't her responsibility.

 

Colt though was book boyfriend goals. From the moment he lays eyes on Ash he goes after her. And even though he wasn't in a position to pursue her he still put his cards on the table and set about doing everything he could to make things better for her. He never left any doubt about what he was thinking and how he was feeling. Everything about him was just awesome.

 

I'm so glad that I fixated on this book because I'm hoping that we are getting books for all the great secondary characters we met. And I can't wait to get my hands on the next one because from what I've already seen between them the sparks are going to be flying.
