This is another book that has been in my kindle forever. I read the blurb and my head decided it would be too emotional and never wanted to pick it up. Despite the fact I love Natasha Madison and her earlier series that is related to this one I devoured. But I finally took the leap, and I loved it.

 

Zoe is hockey royalty, but she is separated from that world by her career. Viktor was not what I expected. But most of that is my personal bias regarding addicts. And the drama that I expected from his journey was done in a way that I didn't hate. I actually had a lot of positive emotions while reading this.

 

As always, we got a lot of the awesome characters we have already met. And the epilogue was cute. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series and the next generation getting their own stories.
