Being a massive Harper Sloan fan, I always find it almost impossible to review these books. Not for any other reason than I find it hard to conceive of anyone not diving into the newest release as soon as it is released. But I guess I had best try.

Naturally the characters were great and the writing was flawless. However I wasn’t expecting this one to be quite as sweet as it was. For a second chance romance it was quite drama light which I really enjoyed.

Quinn was so solid and understanding of everything that had happened I just adored that she didn’t make unnecessary drama or doubt what she felt. It just made her seem that much stronger and more self-confident and I felt like she absolutely made the story sweet.

Not that Tate didn’t hold his own and I seriously liked him. Although I understood everything he went through to get them here I just struggled with some of his early actions but that said he did redeem himself.

It was great to catch up with Mav and Leigh and the epilogue has me so excited for the future of both couples in Clay’s book which can’t come soon enough.
