This is the first book I have read by this author, and I'll be honest and say my picking it up had nothing to do with her. I read the blurb, and it sounded like the perfect guilty pleasure read for bed. And my husband agrees.

 

Skye and Silas were hot. But I'm actually a little disappointed to say there was also a lot of story with all that heat. And despite this being a quick little novella I feel like we got a good feel for both Skye and Silas.

 

I was expecting a lot more “do me now daddy” and a lot less story. But the author blended both together well, so I got my smut fix and a story and both were enjoyable. Now I'm off to download the epilogue, fingers crossed for more smut. And then I'm probably going to have to check out the author's other books.
