Readers Retreats: Inflame (Midnight Cove Series #1) by Laramie Briscoe

This book was like a big bag of warm fuzzies. It was a completely drama and angst free single parent romance read and I loved it. I kept waiting for the drama to hit or for something to go wrong and it just didn't happen.

I read it in one sitting with a big smile on my face just loving every word. I mean seriously a sexy, single dad firefighter. Yeah that's basically all it took to have me diving right in.

Ash and Emma were great characters and I adored Sydney. The relationship was a bit of a slow burn but the chemistry between them was pretty hot and I liked that Sydney was such a genuine part of the story and not an add on to give some depth to the story line.

I am really looking forward to following this series and seeing who’s next in the Midnight Cove series.
